I need a piece of art fast!

Perspective Photography has a range of canvasses and framed fine art prints in stock. Contact to arrange an appointment or to have a list of available pieces emailed.

Haven't found the special image you're looking for?

Make contact! Not all images are online, everyone has different taste in art and only a selection of images are provided on the website, what you're looking for may just be in the offline collection. Or if you are not in a hurry the image might even be able to be captured specifically for you, Perspective Photography does commissioned work too.

What is the story behind an image?

Knowing the circumstances, location and story behind an image gives a whole new level of appreciation, just ask! Follow on Facebook to hear regular stories about new images. Slightly more obscure things get posted on Instagram.

I need a photographer for my event or a family portrait, can you do it?

Perspective Photography covers events such as equestrian events, dog shows, livestock promotion, pet portraits, aerial photography, industrial and commercial work. Weddings and people portraits are generally not undertaken- there are plenty of other photographers available for this type of work. If you have a more unusual request, send a message and we will talk it through.

Canvas or print?

Perspective Photography prefers canvas prints as they create warmth, texture and impact as a stand alone piece. But if you prefer, photos can also be printed as a traditional print onto archival quality, fine art cotton rag, with custom matting and framing available. Acrylic and aluminium prints are also available to order.

I love a particular image but want it in a different orientation, or in black and white, is that possible?

Sometimes an image can be cropped differently and still work, or I might have a slightly different original image in the collection that is not on the website. Many images can work well in black and white but are presented here in their original colour. Send through your requirements and we'll see what we can do.

How long will it take?

Perspective Photography uses a range of printing companies to provide you with affordable prices and orders are usually placed during sale periods. As such, delivery times can vary from 2 to 4 weeks from the time you place your order. If you need it urgently, orders can be placed immediately and express shipping is available on request.

Will my print be watermarked?

No, images on the website are watermarked for copyright protection purposes. Fine art images are personally signed in a small and discreet manner in a corner of the work, this proves that you are buying authentic work direct from the artist.

Do you ship overseas?

If you are outside Australia, feel free to send an email and we'll work something out.

Do you offer discounts on shipping multiple prints?

Yes, contact for a quote on multiple canvasses/prints.

Currency and payment

Prices quoted are listed in Australian Dollars. Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, MasterCard or Visa.

How will my print be packaged?

Your print will be safely wrapped in bubble wrap and securely boxed to ensure it arrives it top condition.

Will I have to sign for my print?

Yes, registered post with tracking and insurance is used to ensure your canvas/print doesn't go missing or arrive damaged.

What sizes are canvasses available in?

The raw image captured by a full frame sensor camera is in a 2:3 ratio. As such, the most popular and cost effective sizes are in this ratio and include 30x45cm and 50x75cm. Of course, canvasses can be printed to custom size to suit your needs. Really, it comes down to what proportions best suit the image, the size of your space and your budget.

How should I care for my canvas?

With correct care your canvas should last for many years. As with any colours, those placed in direct sunlight will fade over time. A special custom order can be placed to coat the canvas with a UV protection which gives it a 100 year fading guarantee. Be sure not to lean your canvas on any sharp edges, as this will cause the canvas to stretch or scratch. You can clean your canvas from time to time with a soft dry cloth to remove any dust.
